The Student Council will be collecting money from November 2-6, for our annual Pennies for Penguins fundraiser in support of LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. Donations will be collected each day during homeroom. We hope each homeroom will be able to raise at least $50.00 which will result in a LeBonheur patient receiving a stuffed penguin during their hospital stay. Also, each homeroom that contributes at least $50.00 will have a penguin on display at the Memphis Pink Palace Enchanted Forest. Our school-wide goal is $5,000. The homeroom that contributes the most money, will receive a pizza party in the spring. Please help us continue to give back to this hospital that gives so much to the community!
Mrs. Burns and Mrs. Lancaster will offer three dates to help students with questions about their entries for the kindness campaign. These dates are: 11/3, 11/10, and 11/17. The meetings will be in Ms. Burns’ room at 8:00 a.m.
